Jan, The suggestion that Reuben Nevill may be the brother of Thomas Nevill makes a lot of sense. Thomas named one of his sons Reuben Jordan Nevil, who in turned named his son (Thomas' grandson) Reuben Jordan Nevil. The older and younger Reubens moved to Gibson County (far western) Tennessee. While there the senior Reuben was referred to as "old Reuben" (from the Skullbone book). I don't have the place of death for Thomas Nevil. Did he die in Amherst County? Daris Nevil
