Hi group. Awhile back I had made a contact in Pittsburgh PA by the name of ron Carlisle who was doing research on the Neville's particularly on my branch of the family in the early days of Pittsburgh. Today I got in the mail Ron's finished product and will be sitting down shortly to read it from cover to cover. Ron's book is titled The Story of Woodville and was written for the Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundation. In quick review he gets into the John Neville, Kirkpatrick, Daniel Morgan families, then the Cowans, Wrenshalls and Fausets whom I will assume before reading the book are some of the inhabitants of Woodville. There are some interesting maps, pictures of the Neville-Craig family windows in the First Presbyterian Chruch, pictures of Joeseph Neville's Ordinary near Warrenton, pictures of the Craig's, the Cowan's, general Daniel Morgan, Woodville and bunches and bunches of other stuff. In quick review, Ron is careful not to link my ancestor John Neville to the immigrant John and Bridget baby. I'm gong to make the assumption that the book is for sale through Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundation or the Neville House Associates or perhaps direct from Mr. Carlisle. Should you be interested in purchasing this book for your library you might write to Ron at: Ronald C. Carlisle Brown and Carlisle 175 Woodridge Drive Carnegie PA. 15106 On another note, after my blown mother board, defunct browsers and my recent move, I hope to get back into the hunt.
