Hi Alice: I would love to see your Bible whenever you're in the area and when it's convenient. With regard to Blakemore, I have found plenty of mistakes in his work. On the other hand, he did a hell of a job gathering data and much of it is -- to my knowledge, at least -- accurate. Last year I spent a lot of time trying to track down a copy of the book. Finally talked to the publishing house in Richmond who bought the printing firm that printed the book. It was published privately -- probably just distribution to family members -- and the publishing house had no copies. I have sent inquiries to several living Blakemore descendants to see if they might have an extra or unwanted copy. Also have requests out to a number of rare/used book sellers. So far nothing. I have a fairly complete list of Lucy Neville and Wm. Waller Calmes descendants, I continue working on uncovering descendants of Lucy's sisters and their families. Have lots of info and names, undoubtedly lacking lots, too. We live in what is known as far North Dallas, several blocks east of Preston Road and about 3½ miles north of I-635 (LBJ Freeway). We are about 1½ mile from the Prestonwood Town Center mall which is slowly being demolished. If you will me when you're in town, I can meet you wherever you may be. Cheers and best wishes, Jerry
