    3. -- [ From: JP Barton * EMC.Ver #2.5.3 ] -- The Bohannon marriages are repeated in Joe Neville's book, and contributed to prof. researcher William F. Boogher, and notes that Boogher does not cite his sources. ~~Ren: You asked others about a William, bro. of Joseph 1707- . I don't know if you misspoke, or it someone here actually is working on such a line? Anyhow - Joseph doesn't have a bro. William [according to Joe Neville] and also according to Joe Neville's book, it was Joseph b. 1707's son John b. 1731 who m. Winifred Oldham. I suspect the missing Prince William records will really hurt us here. ~~Jan: Lots of Faulkners and Porters in Middlesex Co. where my George Neville marrys... you may end up searching here yet <g> The following Bohannon/Neville vital records are from Christ Church Middlesex co., VA: George Neville 1695-1774 m. 22 Jun 1725 Anna [Hannah] Symes. She was bapt. 29 Dec 1706 and the dau. of Thomas & Ann Symes [most likely, as they are the only Symes parents in the book] Hannah Neville d. 31 dec 1728. George Neville m. 2nd Mary Gibbs 20 Jun 1729, dau. of John & Mary Gibbs [inferred, they had a dau. Mary bapt. 22 Apr 1711]. John Gibbs d. 1726 , Mary Gibbs [prob. his wife] d. 1728. George Bohannon d. 23 Aug 1726 William Bohannon d. 1732 Henry Bohannon d . 1740 Elizabeth Neville dau. of John b. 1668 [and sister of above George] m. Joseph Bohannon [according to Boogher]. Christ Church records show Joseph & Elizabeth Bohannon had Neville Bohannon 1724, Sarah 1728, and William 1730. [there could be more children, or, its possible this is about the time the Nevilles and Bohannons moved on... ] Its possible Joseph was Elizabeth's cousin, as it is believed that her father John was m. to Elizabeth Bohannon ca 1685. Note that Joe Neville does not include Neville Bohannon's bro. & sister, yet knows that Neville Bohannon was b. in Middlesex Co., and contributes that info. to Boogher. Makes me think Boogher didn't do his homework - how could he find one birth/baptism, and not the other two? Now - I have a question: do any of you researchers who have the James Neville 1686-1752 m. Lucy Thomas 2nd, line, know who his first wife was? [he d. Albemarle Co.] I don't have that line, but wondered if anyone ever found the first wife.
