I am a descendant of Yelvaton Neville's sister Malinda (Neville) Thompson. We have no proof that Capt. William Neville was a son of Joseph, but I think it was highly likely as they were from the same area. However I am strongly convinced that Joseph was NOT born in Isle of Wight Co., VA. That is an entirely different family and someone years ago mixed up two men with the same name. There are numerous errors in the early generations that have been repeated over and over & when people see it so often they think it must be true.
