Georgia, I checked the Madison County, Al and Madison County, TN families to see if they were related. I regret that I found no connection, but there maybe one. There is a problem their birth state being Alabama or Tennesse. It is my feeling they were born in Alabama Indian Territory. I haven't found any records in Alabama, but they show Alabama on the census. With in our Nevill Family John's Desendents show Alabama and James show Tennessee. James and John are desendents of Nicholas Thomas Nevill. Yes the names are simular. The 1830 census Lincoln County, TN has two older children.
