I am the great grandson of Mary Elizabeth Ne"a"ville ( married Cincinnatus P. Jean - married Dec 17th 1873 ) of Portsmouth "City", Va. Her parents were John and Elizabeth Neaville. In my readings of early England from 1066 to the late 1400's, I find numerous Neville's surrounding one Richard Neville ( earl of Warwick) a key player in the War (s) of the Roses and known as " the maker of King's". A brother John is noted in the mid 1400's. Can you tell me about or point me in the direction of more info regarding the early colonial family on Mary Elizabeth's paternal side. I also show a relationship to a Portsmouth Grubb family through the Neaville's. I trace my Jean roots to a ship from England to Jamestown in 1640. Any assistance would be much appreciated. A prize goal would be to find a picture of Mary Elizabeth and Cincinnatus. They both died in the 1912 / 1914 timeframe. Cincinnatus was a member of the Stonewall Camp (Portsmouth) of Confederate Veterans. Sincerely, Donald Jean
