I have been researching Nevilles for several years and have discovered I am descended from Joshua Neville ,a cabinet maker who left Queens County Ireland at an early age (according to his obituary) and arrived in Charleston SC around 1790. He married in a Methodist church in Charleston which leads me to believe he was protestant.Names in the family include Henry, William Clement,Junius,Thomas, Martha,Kitty,Margaret and Mary. I have not had any sucess in finding anything about our family in Ireland and am wondering about how best to approach it. If his family were protestant and living in Queens Co. Ireland in the 1700's, would that maybe give me some place to start and if so where? I am also curious as to what might have prompted him to leave Ireland(political ,economic etc).Thanks for any help you might provide. William Neville
