    2. Randy L. Nevill
    3. Roxann, I did know we were related in some way to the Mathis Family. In Gibson, or Madison will possibly be the graves on Nicholas Nevill, Soloman Nevill, Dodson Nevill and David Weakley Nevill. Do you have any of this information? I have linages on Nicholas Children, James, Mary & John. I have had a major problem restoring my files and merging. Currently I am starting over. I will print down the first couple of pages & E-Mail. In Madison County there is a Watt Road that runs into Roane Road and then into Medina if I remember correctly, I will copy a map and send this information to you, at your request. Cade Cementery is located off insterstate 45 between Dallas & Houston, the nearest town is Streetman. Take the exit West for Wortham it is about a mile off the interstate on the left. Petty's Chapel Church & Cementary is east of Corsicana off interstate 45 to Roane, Tx. It is about a mile off the interstate on the right. ----- Original Message ----- From: Gleasons To: Randy L. 3. Daris, Daris, On some records I have found the same record on the same person in two places. The ones taking the Census are sometimes the town drunk, and they are the most reliable resource we have. Some are missed, they may have been at the end on a dirt road. In early times if they are squatters in Indian Territory they are also missed. In Rueben's case he may have been near the county line and been included in both or moved, or someone may have made a mistake, I can't answer that question. Census records on Microfilm, Rueben 1850-Carroll County, 1870-Gibson County, 1840-Davidson County, 1860-none check to see if he voted for Governor in 1859. Regards, Randy P.S. 3. Daris, I have entered both counties just as I found them. In regards to N. T. Nevill, still don't have a clue which family he is connect to. When checking records, I always record all Neville families and post. When checking on George Nevill in Gibson County, George W. Nevil. & George Nevil were B.M. at two different Mathis weddings. Dodson Nevil had a lawsuit with a Matis & N. T. Nevill is the brother-in-law of a Mathis. 3. Georgia, I checked the Madison County, Al and Madison County, TN families to see if they were related. I regret that I found no connection, but there maybe one. There is a problem their birth state being Alabama or Tennesse. It is my feeling they were born in Alabama Indian Territory. I haven't found any records in Alabama, but they show Alabama on the census. With in our Nevill Family John's Desendents show Alabama and James show Tennessee. James and John are desendents of Nicholas Thomas Nevill. Yes the names are simular. The 1830 census Lincoln County, TN has two older children. 2. I got so excited when I read "who emigrated from Ireland in around 1864" because I've always wondered who our James Neville traveled with. Thought this was the breakthrough. Then I looked again, "James Neville emmigrated from Tyrone County, Ireland to America in March 1846". RATS! (They probably had those aboard ship too!) So I'll keep looking. Emily could be James's niece but now we're stretching! By 1864 James and his family had been living in Illinois for several years. I guess we have to have a little excitement, even if it's false, to keep us hoping. Carol in San Diego
