I think the Paradise you want is in Clark County. I did a search at ancestry.com for Milam's in Nevada. There were 3 listed under the SSDI. 2 of them had dates of birth early enough to possibly be siblings of your Minnie May. There was also a reference in a book called "Heartthrobs of the West" mentioning a J.S. Milam that came to Clark County(Las Vegas area)around 1855. Margaret P.S.- the only other place that has a Paradise name in Nevada is in Humboldt County.
