I was wondering if anyone new anything about a Harper's Ranch? This is the place my grandfather was born in 1914. His name was Robert Leroy Johnson. Supposedly the church that had his birth documents had burnt to the ground and he didn't have a birth certificate because of this. Does anyone remember or know anything about this ranch or church? His fathers' name was Nicholas L. Johnson; he was a captain of sail and steam vessels. He had also ran tugboats in Seattle, Wa (Rival and Starling were two of his tugs, and the name of his company in Seattle, WA was N.L.Johnson Towing Co.). His mother's name is unknown to me.
