Recently I published a website http://poorhousestory.com intended to be a clearinghouse for information about all 19th century American poorhouses. Poorhouse records have proven to be a valuable and previously largely untapped source of information about many people who may have been otherwise undocumented in the records we more commonly search to climb over our BRICK WALLS! So far I have been able to find only one on-line references to poorhouses in Nevada.
