He was born Oct. 23, 1900 in Pender, Nebraska. He died in Pender on Nov 8, 1978 and is buried at St. Peter's Lutheran church cemetery. He married Mildred (Zelmer) Adams in Long Beach, California March 16, 1961. She was born Oct 6, 1912 in Atlantic, Iowa. They lived in Pender but spent the Winters in Long Beach. I have information on his first marriage and his five children from that marriage. The name was spelled Wichmann originally but the second "m" was eventually dropped by the family.
