Ne Queries Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Ne/Saline/28 Surname: BAIRD ------------------------- Am interested in finding information on the John Watson BAIRD family which was in Western, Saline, NE in 1874, leaving shortly thereafter for Illinois. My husband's gggrandmother was a twin, born there in 1874. The twin did not survive, and I have not been able to find where she might be buried. I don't believe she was given a name, however, her sister's name was Carrie BAIRD. Any information on Western or a point to more information would be greatly appreciated. Have checked a few of the histories available through Salt Lake City, but no mention of this Baird nor a cemetery listing of those transcribed was found. I did find a Saphronia Baird during that time, however, cannot find a connection at this time. Thanks in advance for any help.
