We have many buried in Oak Grove cemetery, DeWitt NE. I have been unable to find an Edward F. however. We have Joseph G. Mayhew, b. 12 Nov 1868, Grayse, Essex County, England, moved to Canada 1872, moved to Waterloo NE 1878, moved to DeWitt 1887, m. 7 Jan 1897, Helen J. Schumacher, d. 3 Nov 1962, sons Louis and Lawrence. Buried Oak Grove. Louis H. Mayhew, b. 12 Nov 1898, DeWitt to Joseph G. and Helen J. NEE Schumacher Mayhew, d. 21 Dec 1972, age 74 yrs. Buried Oak Grove. Also James Mayhew b. 2 May 1841, Ickworth, Suffolk, England, m. Sarah Elsden 4 Oct 1863, son James b. and d. Clare, England (maybe Sarah too). Came to America 1879 to Elkhorn NE, moved to DeWitt 1905, d. 30 Sep 1923, 82 years, buried Oak Grove. It would seem that this family is not the one you are looking for. doris
