Martha Elizabeth (b. March 14, 1885, in Beatrice, Gage County, Nebraska) married Charles Henry Norton when she was sixteen, which would have been 1901. However, so far we haven't found any marriage records. Martha and Charles had twelve children: Lawrence Willard, Harold William, Anna Margaret, James Clifford, Thelma Justiana, Theresa Elizabeth, Rita Blanche, Mary Ellen, John Edward, Rose Ella, Charles Ella, Robert Lee Martha's Siblings: Christine, Gustav, Augusta, Ann, Carl, Wilhelm, Louise, Irene, Amanda, Margaret, Adolph Martha's parents were August Adolph and Justina Juliana Neumann, they were born in Marienburg, Germany, West Prussia. Today Marienburg is Malmork, Poland. We found that the Neumanns in our family spelt the name: Neumann, and Newmann, also.
