Christian's uncle, Mikkel, and his father, Tollef, came from the same farm in Norway, Saugstad Vestre, and we are all descendants of Ole Saugstad, born in 1751. There is also a Saugstad Oeste but is a different line. Ole (another, born 12/12/1848) died in Bella Coola in 1909 and is a brother of my greatfather, Andrew Olson Saugstad.
