    3. I am looking for four siblings and their families in Saline County, Nebraska. They were John Wesley DeWitt b. 4 Nov 1831, Helen Rumsey DeWitt b. 3 Sept 1844, Joseph Clinton DeWitt b. June 1846, and Martha Minerva DeWitt b. 1848. The first was the son of Joseph H. DeWitt and Sarah Edwards and the last three were children of Joseph H. DeWitt and third wife Olivia Pitts Rumsey. Below is the information I have. John Wesley DeWitt b. 4 Nov 1831 was enumerated in Moniteau Township, Cooper County, Missouri, post office California, in 1860, farmer, next to his father and family. Enumerated in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa in 1870 with a wife and two children, nurseryman and enumerated in Crete, Saline County, Nebraska in 1880, nurseryman. Wife, Mary A. b. Jan 1836 Pennsylvania. John was in Friend, Saline County in the 1890 business directory. John d. before 1900 when Mary was enumerated on North 25th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska. All three daughters were residing with her and also Eunice Regnier, enumerated as a grand daughter, b. Oct 1891 Nebraska. Children of John and Mary: 1. Josiah Edward DeWitt b. c. 1858 Pennsylvania enumerated with parents in 1860 and 1870 but not named as an heir in the estate of his aunt Mary DeWitt Yule and perhaps died without issue. 2. Bertha Y. DeWitt b. Nov 1867 Iowa, residing with mother in 1900, called Bertha Y. Hubbard of Kenosha, Wisconsin in 1904-5. 3. Blanche C. DeWitt b. Sept 1872 Iowa, residing with mother in 1900, and still single of Lincoln, Nebraska in 1904-5. 4. Leola E. DeWitt b. Nov 1879 Nebraska was Lola North in 1904-5 of Lincoln, Nebraska.
