I = have a photograph of her, with Friend Nebraska on the bottom, as well as = "Marble" I am guessing that Marble is the name of the studio. My = GGrandmother's name was Mary Elizabeth Fry, married a man name McGuire = at one point, but she looks to be about 16 in the photo. It was an = indoor photo, and she is holding a parasol. I searched the RootsWeb and = did find a photographer during the 1890's named J.W Briggs. My = GGrandmother eventually became a photographer herself and had her own = studio in Key Stone South Dakota, as well as one in Cripple Creek = Colorado. Her second husband was a gold miner, I think her first might = have been also. I was wondering if you might have any information = around the 1883-1889 era. I also would like to know if the Anderson = Cemetery or the St. Josephs cemetery in Friend might have on-line = information. Any help you can offer is much appreciated. I have so = little to go on for her, only that she came from PA. At least that is = where I know she was born. Her mother's maiden name was Tuttle, and we = noticed a Tuttle building by HWY 6 on our way out. Not sure if there is = any connection, but I know families normally traveled in a group when = they moved about. Thank you.=20 Davilynn McGreer ------=_NextPart_000_0005_01C0A981.8BF8FD40 Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META content=3D"text/html; charset=3Diso-8859-1" = http-equiv=3DContent-Type> <META content=3D"MSHTML 5.00.2919.6307" name=3DGENERATOR> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=3D#ffffff> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>Hello,</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>I just visited Friend Nebraska today, = learned a=20 little more about a place that I am not sure if my Great Grandmother = lived or=20 visited.
