Am looking for descendants of the Kinzie families who settled near Wilber Ne. back in the 1860's, coming from Indiana. I am particularly interested in James Kinzie, and his wife Lydia Hatch Kinzie, who are buried at the Dewitt Oak Grove Cem. James Kinzie was a brother to my great- great grandfather David Kinzie, who with his wife Didamie Alcinda Pitts Kinzie, are listed as farmers in Jefferson Co. Ne. in 1890. They were two, of at least 9 children of William and Rebecca Kinzie, who were from the area's of Ill., Virginia, Michigan, and Indiana. Am interested in locating as many descendants of the extended families, as possible. Looking for the burial sites of David, Didamie, and David's father William. William was born 1791, Chicago, came to Ne. with them, and supposedly is buried in Ne., though there seems to be many arguments about that. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
