Ernest Deldine Winslow was born in Friend on December 17, 1876, to Elizabeth Winslow. The family history, largely undocumented, suggests that Ernest's father, was killed in a rodeo accident one week before he was to be married to Elizabeth Winslow. The date of Ernest's birth suggests the father died between March 1, 1876 and December 1876. Ms. Winslow had another illegitimate son, Steven Winslow, b. September 1882 in Nebraska. She relocated with much of the family to California, and married there. Link: Doug's Family Tree main page URL: <http://www.greencity.org/ftree.html>
