Mike, I did some investigating and think we have found where the store was. However, it appears that they were not owners or perhaps owned but not in their name. In the 1915 City Directory it lists E Henry Ott and wife Dora C. It says clerk at the "Held & Clark". Held and Clark is listed under the stores as Hardware and is located 501 W 13th. That address is now located at 13th street and 25th avenue which is a one story building and there is a small one story building on the west side of that building. In the 1923 city directory it does not list where he works but says he is a clerk. In the 1930 city directory it only shows his wife Dora C. I found a very short one or two senctence obit for Dora that states she died in December 1945 in Walnut, Iowa. Shirley
