She said that the family might just have put the obit in the paper to notify friends and family, but why put the name of a funeral home? It also lists West Lawn cemetery as the burial place. Waiting to hear from them. Perhaps I should send her the copy of the obit? Also, the Illinois records are spotty for really early settlers.
