My husbands great grandfather, Peter Bomberger (3rd), was in the Civil War out of Illinois, along with his brothers in law Holloway and Cox. His sister, Susan Cox, served as a nurse. This will make me go back and revisit those stories. They all settled in Johnson Co. Ne.
