    2. To the list: I don't know if I mentioned this before, but the FHL site has a new format, which I do not care for.......as I hate Ancestrys new format too.......but, https://familysearch.org/ has started showing some images of the actual census. Its hit and miss, as they probably have just started, but on the page is the info from the image. Interesting about names. On the 1910 census for my Podgurski family, half the family is listed as Podgurski, the other half, Podziski. Did a new transcriber come on board halfway? lol On the 1920, the family is Podguiski. I don't remember this mixup from the first images I saw back when they first put them online on Ancestry. It means you have to be prepared. Also, I just noticed that someone is missing?????? Whoa....how did I not see that before. No...that person didn't die, and I know this because I stayed with him when I came to California to college!!!! Hmmm I have really been non observant on that......and where was he? KathyB ____________________________________________________________ Groupon&#8482 Official Site 1 ridiculously huge coupon a day. 3. Kathy, I am an arbritrator for FHL indexing project. Each document is keyed twice by two different people and then arbitrator comes in and is given the two side by side to compare. The program highlights the differences for each line of every document. Then arbritrator decides which of the two is best or if they have a better idea of what is written. It's hard to believe that two people would see those names exactly the same right in the middle of a family. But, if they were on two different pages, then there would be two new people reading the second page. I always go to the previous page and see who is the head of household but I am guessing many do not. Some of the records are so hard to decipher and others are a breeze. I encourage anyone who has time on their hands and likes typing to join the project as it can be very habit forming. I truly love doing it. Ancestry's project is also ongoing but I find the people very hard to get along with on that site. So many times they have changed the rules and it makes it hard to stay on top of it all.....Shirley
