Forgot to add : There seems to be ties into Smogulec for a great many pioneer Poles who settled around Columbus, circa 1850 or so. I don't know the connecting information and some of the early pioneers may not have known either. The connection started with the prior generation of Pioneers it seems, their Moms and Dads time perion. Smogulec comes up at the oddest times. The parents of Walenty LASEK both went there in their senior years. Marty Wozney, Ron Lassek's Grandmother was born there. The Kujawa's came from there. If anyone can shed some light on this, I'd like to hear it.
