Hello - I'm in the midst of a Photo effort, along with others, to identify all the Lassek photo's that the Family has been collecting all these years. Our system seems to be working. The digital photo's are exchanged within our group and unknown photo's are slowly being identified and so entitled on a CD for posterity. If anyone is interested, I'll be glad to explain our process. Throughout, we've got some photo's that we can't identify, it seems that most are from Family's other than Lasseks, some with identification, some not. It's here that possibly others may benefit as well. We'd like to both identify them and give originals to appropriate Family members. Towards this goal, I will put their likeness on a site (still looking) available to all who may care to examine them. With some small exceptions, once identified, I'll send the originals to the Family (or to whomever is identified for receipt). All I will need is an address - I'll pay the postage (random act of kindness). It's a "win win" situation and I hope all will participate. On the first CD circulated, Ron Lassek identified the last photo of my Great Grandfather Walenty Lasek whose photograph was taken in his coffin at the cemetery. This is only the second of two known photo's of Walenty existing today - a super find. Once I have this finalized with photo's I'll put the web site here on email to all for viewing. Thanks. Tomasz
