Tom - think my ancestors arrived in Nemaha County in 1854 -Supposedly they came with Richard Brown who founded Brownsville and with the future governor of NE - last name of Furnace or something like that - I am not up on my governors from any state other than OR - think they arrived from MO and it was mostly Indians then - One of my ggg grandmothers brothers was scalped by Indians in that area - and that's why i love the Library of congress web site with the old newspapers on it - there are newspapers from Brownville and I got quite a few articles about My Edwards family - but still am anxious to visit the area and see what I can find for myself - and as far as recording devices etc - my son sets them up and then just tells me which buttons to push - lol - I am not up on the latest in electronics - computers - yes - anything else I am sorely lacking in operating skills - I have gps on my phone and wouldn't even begin to know how to use it - I am lucky if I can get to my voicemail - lol - Dianne
