<<<I am writing this in hopes I might be able to find where my gr.gr. granmother is buried. All I know is that my gr.gr. grandfather Orville W. Kendrick homesteaded in Lancaster Co., NE around 1875-77 and they are listed in a family Bible as living near Davey, NE in 1877. His wife, Elizabeth A. Decker died 9 MAR 1882 in I believe, Lancaster Co., NE. I am assuming that she is buried somewhere around Davey, NE. Does anyone have any information or suggestions as to where to find this family and the place of burial for Elizabeth? Any help would be greatly appreciated. >>> Toby ... I have a few photocopied pages for the St. Patrick/St. Mary's Cemetery in Davey, from "Cemeteries of Lancaster County, NE, Volume IV, Northeast Quarter", compiled and published by the Lincoln-Lancaster County Genealogical Society, Spring 1980. (978.265 H62l) -- the last character is an "L", not a "one" Unfortunately, your Kendrick/Decker individuals do not appear on those pages ... but I suggest that you contact the Nebraska State Historical Society for help with that record source, since those cemetery volumes are on the shelf in their archive. (There are additional cemeteries in the Davey vicinity, and it may be that your Kendrick's are there instead of at St.Patrick/St. Mary.)
