Am looking for relatives of Daniel Clinton Brown, son of Joseph Brown. Daniel was born in Spencer County, IN and migrated to Lancaster County, NE about 1865 from Porter County, IN. He died in 1892 in Rocca, Lancaster Co., NE but I have not been able to find his cemetery record, just small obituary in newspaper. His daughter, Mary Jane married George Crawford. They had 2 children that I know of, do not have any more information about them. His daughter, Elizabeth married David Steele. They had 2 children that I know of and I do not have any more information about them. (They might have moved to Kootenai County, ID) His daughter, Lilly Dale Isador Francis Brown married George Stassen. One child that I know about George Stassen. (They also might have moved to ID) Son, David Ralph Brown, supposedly died in Idaho. Son, Gilroy Everett Brown md Pearl Haskins. No further information Son, Melroy Brown died an infant? buried in Lancaster Co....?? where?? Son, George Brown, no further information. Son, Joseph Manuel Brown, migrated to Kootenai County, ID and married, Martha Jane Van Cleave. They both died there. This is my direct line. My Daniel Clinton Brown had a nephew, Daniel Clinton Brown, who was the son of my Daniel's brother, Presley. Presley's son, Daniel, also moved to Lancaster, NE and is buried in Lincoln.
