I just obtained a copy of an obituary for my Gr. Grandmother, who died in 1953, and it listed her being a member of the Spanish American War Auxiliary. So far, I don't know of any relatives who served in this war, but would a person need to have a relative in the war or could anyone be a member? Has anyone tried to get information from this group or do you know how I would contact them? Her name was Catherine McLaughlin, wife of James F. McLaughlin. Thanks, Joyce
