The HARPER's DOG AND PONY SHOW was owned by Fred HARPER not a MAY. Fred was my grandfather and lived in Bennet, Ne. He would contract with a Circus and be only one part of it. In the fall to spring he would train his animals for a new show. Just before going on the road in the he always gave a free show for the residents of Bennet. I do not know the names of the Circuses he worked with and I was a very small child when I saw his show. As a fairly young man he had a stroke, was paralized and unable to talk and therefore had to give up the show and lived in Bennet until he died in 1965 at age 77. Ed Glover
