Ne Queries Forum Reply Here: http://genconnect.rootsweb.com/gc/USA/Ne/Lancaster/10554 Surname: HACKSTOCK, SCHREINER ------------------------- While recently looking to knock down a few block walls in my family search (limited surnames above) I couldn't help but notice the Mosher name on the query board. I have Mosher in my family tree, although very far removed on my maternal grandfathers family (Patrick, Balch, Burdick, Maxson, Mosher). Possibly we have some connection through the Mosher surname? It is not uncommon from what I have found in my research to find a link, just out of luck. When all else fails, just keep trying has always helped me. I am also wondering if you can direct me to someone who can help me find the buriel sites of my paternal fathers family buried in NE. The name is quite unusual HACKSTOCK, but not so uncommon. We have been trying to find the buriel locations as Wyuka Cemetery did not have all the records lost to a fire that destroyed many records. My grandfather is buried at Soldiers Circle in Wyuka, I do have his death certificate. But we have reached a block wall on all other HACKSTOCK members who are buried in Nebraska. Thanks to the Trinity Lutheran Church, they were able to verify that other family members were in the Lincoln, NE in the late 1800's. My late aunt had written to them in 1981. I know this may be a strange request, but your answer to a query about Wyuka made me feel that you are more familiar with the Nebraska area and might be able to point me in the right direction.
