    3. I went to the link you listed, which I had never heard of before, and was NOT surprised to see Charlotte Moyer listed for Lancaster County. Charlotte has helped me a great deal; she has a non-professional ability to think the way you would think if you were doing your own research. I have hired professionals to do research for me, and very often, they go to look for exactly what you asked, and no more. Charlotte takes it further, and if she thinks another avenue would provide more answers, she pursues it. For this resaon, I'm asking everyone to be nice to Charloote! She's a special dear, and needs to not be overburdened! By the way, we should always be ready to cover the expenses of the researcher. Copying, parking even lunch, if you think an entire day has been spent on your behalf. I even sent Charlotte a box of See's chocolate - you wouldn't believe the things she uncovered for me. 3. Hi, Ed ... I know the Nebraska State Historical Society has those volumes of Lancaster County cemetery transcriptions. I am certain you could, for a very reasonable fee, ($5-10) ask the society staff to copy the pertinent pages for you. Or, you could try the "Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness" to see if some kind soul in Lincoln would do the copying gratis. Nebraska State Historical Society P.O. 2. Starting at 8 a.m. PST Friday, February 23, RootsWeb will begin a planned temporary downtime for maintenance of its servers and hosting process. It will limit this downtime as much as possible, and will return with increased performance and reliability for future growth. In the meantime, please take time to visit RootsWeb.com's sister sites -- Ancestry.com and FamilyHistory.com -- where you will find additional tools such as message boards, communities, and databases to help you in the search for your ancestors. Thank you for your patience. --The RootsWeb Staff Have a great day ~ Kathie Harrison *Please note: I am unable to do research for others but may be able to direct you to areas that will aid in your research in Lancaster County, NE. *********************** Blessed are grandmothers who preserved family Bibles and diaries ... 1. [NELANCAS] Bennet, NE Cemetery
    2. Greetings to all of you Corhusker descendants, I recently attended a Genealogy Jamboree here in California and talked to a lady at the Nebraska table. She had a copy of CEMETERIES OF LANCASTER COUNTY, NE, VOL. 1 which contained several pages listing burials in the Bennet Cemetery. I have many ancestors buried in that cemetery. Is there anyone who has a copy of that document and could copy the Bennet Cemetery pages either by scanner or duplicate pages to mail me at Edwin Glover, 24648 Narbonne Ave., Lomita, CA 90717? Thank you, Ed Glover
