I am 19 and doing some research on my family. Our branch of the family was always told that our family came over from Germany when my great grandfather was little. We were told about three brothers. My great grandfather, who settle in West Texas, a brother in East Texas, and one who went north but was never heard from again. Their parents were Henry and Louise Guelker. But the more information I start to look for, the more I do not understand. Everything seems to contradict what I was taught. All of the years, and dates of events dont come out the as they should.

Have need of 1920 census for Harrison Graham . The death certificate for Lydia Graham, who died 15 Feb 1945. age 94 in Lincoln, NE, shows she is the widow of Harrison Graham and had lived in the community for 50 years. The informant's own signature is typed: "Lyda Francis Graham". Lyda may be the deceased or a daughter of Lydia. I don't know if Harrison was dead by 1920. They had a daughter, Lyda or Lydia. Will appreciate anyone who has access to the 1920 Miracode index telling me the Enumeration District, sheet and line for this family. Thanks for taking your time to help me. Hello list, I am seeking information about Almon Webster Ensign. He was born 14 Dec 1829 in Charleston, SC. He made frequent moves as a youth, but came to Lancaster County, NE to homestead after the Civil War. In 1867 he settled on section 22 in Middle Creek Precinct, Lancaster, NE. He had 4 children with his first wife, Julia Barkwell. After she died, he married Harriett (Hattie) Coulter in 1870. I believe they had 8 children. In 1881, he moved the family to Seward County, NE to farm in Pricinct 1 town 10 range 4 east. I have lost track of this family after this date and have been told that he died in 1893 but can't find info in Seward or Lancaster County. Does anyone have info about this man or his family? Hattie Coulter is a sister of my gr gr grandfather and I'm trying to gather information about all of his siblings. Thanks for any help you can give. Linda Hirst
