Have you had access to the 2 page biography of Isma P Mumford in Dodd's "History of Gage County, Nebraska" published in 1918. This article tells that Elizabeth Mumford was the first white woman settler in Gage County and the mother of the first white male child born in the county. I can send you a copy of this article if you wish. DeLoris Jensby

Don't know if she has done other cemeteries or has access to them. You can email her at the site. She is very helpful. Dee Boyd St.Louis, Missouri
Hello; I understand that the tombstone inscriptions for Thayer County cemeteries were recorded by the Thayer County Genealogy Society. I wrote the society a few months ago requesting information on 4 individuals in specific cemeteries but I haven't heard back from them. Before I write them again, does anyone else have access to these records? And could you do the look-up for me? If so, please send me e-mail. Regards, Brad Euhus Wheaton, IL beuhus@lucent.com

Researching the GOIN family and the HART family. Both resided around the LIBERTY area in Gage Co. Some given names in the Goin family are James Knox Polk Goin, Proctor Goin, Phillip Goin, Emeline Goin, Elizabeth Goin, Margaret Ann Goin, and more! Some given names in the Hart line are Thomas Earl Hart, Grace Mae Hart, Nehemiah Hart, Susan Hart. Would love hearing from others and sharing information.
