Harmon, 76, of Middleton, died Tuesday, March 24, 1998, at a Caldwell nursing home of natural causes. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, March 27, 1998, at the Middleton Cemetery. Rev. Jim DeVall of the Middleton Church of the Nazarene will officiate. Services are under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. Family and friends are asked to gather at the cemetery. Mrs. Harmon was born April 15, 1921 in Omaha, Nebraska, the daughter of Henry and Fredricka Ludwig Kohler. She was raised and educated in Omaha. She married Jack Harmon 54 years ago in Omaha, where they resided until September of 1995, when they moved to Idaho and settled in Middleton. Marie was a homemaker for the most part who also worked outside the home as a bedside nurse and care giver. She loved to write poetry and songs, mostly about her grandchildren. She also enjoyed time spent with her family. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great and great-great grandmother who will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was a member of the Missouri Synod Lutheran Church. Marie's family would like to thank the wonderful staff at the Cascade Care Center for the tender and loving care they provided through this difficult time. Marie is survived by her husband, Jack Harmon, of Middleton; 2 children, Jody Heiss of Nampa, and Gerald Harmon of Missouri; numerous grand and great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; 3 brothers, George, Freddy and Richard Kohler.
