    1. Re: [NEDOUGLA] Hints to find Obits
    2. I am sorry if someone has had problems with their requests. The weather has be pretty lousy most days, and it tends to keep some of us from venturing outside to the library. If anyone is having problems getting obit requests, they may email me and I will get them for them or find someone that can do it. This website was put up by Greater Omaha Genealogical Society as a way to help people outside of Omaha, and also raise a little money for our costs of putting it online. It is very much a work in progress, although we do have over 114,000 names on it so far. We have been busy adding more. We also have added a Mortuary Listing of all Mortuaries in Omaha and the years they were in business. The link is on the the society website, _www.gogsmembers.wordpress.com_ (http://www.gogsmembers.wordpress.com) . Also, coming soon to our library, W. Dale Clark, through fundraisers and grants, we have purchased all the marriage records for Douglas County, Nebraska (around 200 reels). Though they are not indexed, they are in certificate number order. We are very excited about all this and hope it will help out of town researchers. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me. Our main contact has been having computer problems, and has lost quite a bit of her emails. Happy researching.
