Thank you for replying to my query. I actually haven't done much with Ancestry.com lately so I'm not even quite sure what I was doing - I think I felt that I was kind of at a dead end. But I do know that the Abendroths were somewhat of a problem for me. I have a couple of old photos, which when I get a chance I will send to you if you would be interested, of people who I'm sure they're Abendroths, but I'm not quite sure how they fit. I have a few from 1955 which my Dad has marked "Aunt Gert," who I'm sure was my great grandmother's sister. One is identified as just "Sister," who looks quite a bit like "Aunt Gert" but a bit younger, so I'm thinking she's a younger sister of my great grandmother's (she may even be your grandmother.) Anyway, before I get you as confused as I am, I will try to figure out where I was on Ancestry and get back to you after the holidays.
