I am researching J.B. Jardine (AKA James Burns Jardine) and his family. He was born Dec, 1819 in Glasserton Parish, Wigotwnshire, Scotland.? One source has it that he moved to Yorkshire, England in 1838, and then immigrated to Bucks County, Pennsylvania in 1842.? In Pennsylvania he married Mary Ann Flinton and they had 3 children: James W., Thomas F., and Walter S. The family moved to Omaha, Nebraska in 1868.? James B. Jardine died in Omaha in May, 1896.? His wife died in 1904, also in Omaha.? They are buried in the Forest Lawn Cemetery.? His son Walter founded the Jardine Express Company and was later associated with the Omaha Merchants & Transfer Company. ??? Can anyone claim J.B. Jardine as one of their research interests??
