Douglas County had a Death Registry at that time and he may be listed there (not all deaths were). There is also the cemetery card file. I have access to all the above, including newspapers, and can check for you. There would be a $10 charge if I find something, no charge if I don't. This would include copy costs and postage. You wouldn't need to pay until you receive the information. I have been doing Nebraska research for people for 20 years.
