    1. Re: [NEDOUGLA] Family Search Indexing Project
    2. No indeed, just like anyone can use their facilities, anyone with a computer that has some empty space and inter net access can help. And considering that people who sign up only have to do one a week (they can do more if they have time & inclination, how many volunteers depends on how fast stuff gets indexed. My project this morning was Jackson co, MO, after dishes are done this evening, I think I will do some more. But I am involved in a LOT of local genealogy projects, so I am grateful that they're flexible with their request. I can handle two hours a week. Some weeks more than that would be a strain, but other weeks, a piece of cake. We finished reading Omaha's Westlawn Hillcrest Cemetery yesterday. We have to finish typing, and proofread, then we'll be putting it out on CD ROM (in the neighborhood of 70,000 burials, and 900 pages WITHOUT an index, so that's why a CD.) For the number of hours that have been put in, it'll be nothing, but if we make money, proceeds will go to the W. Dale Clark library for materials--and we'll all find more ancestors.
