    1. [NEDOUGLA] Nebraska's UP!
    2. For those who are interested in Family Search Indexing the 1900 census for Nebraska: it was put up today. I just downloaded a page from Custer county. They ask only that you do a page a week, and you can do as many as you want. Each page is done twice, and checked by an arbitrator, so it'll be as good an index as humans can make it (they figure they have about a 99.7% accuracy to what the census taker wrote down--if the census taker didn't get it right, that's not their fault.) To access Nebraska pages once you get on the indexing site, you have to click on the right hand button that allows you to select the project you are willing to work on. Come help! The censuses will be available for free when the indexing is done. Much of the rest will be, though some of the record owners are asking that they retain jurisdiction over their records and may charge a small fee to get copies. We'll soon all be finding more ancestors.
