Marriage License index transcription project. This week a woman who lives in Michigan, but has roots in Omaha, sent me 184 marriage license index items from the early 1900s transcribed from microfilm. These were a partial list of the "A" surnames in the Index and can be seen at http://www.rootsweb.com/~nedougla/html/marriages She would like to identify and work with others who are interested in the Douglas Co. Marriage License Index, so as to transcribe more of the entries. If anyone on this list, who lives in Omaha, is interested please contact me.
