Did your Boyer's come from Maryland? Joy in Carroll Co., Illinois

Hello Joy, At this point I do not know where they originally came from. I only have them coming from Kansas to Nebraska so far. the earliest dates I have are in the 1960's. Before that time I do not know where they were. Do you have ancestors who came from MD to NE? My husband has Boyer relatives that came from Lancaster, PA to Illinois in the 1820's -1850's. I take it back to a Johann Nicholaus Beyer, Sr. b. 1730 in Germany. If you would send a pedigree from your grandfather back as far as possible, with dates, I will try to connect you. If memory serves there was another Beyer in PA. that I have suspected being a brother to Johann Nicholas, just not confirmed. Joy
