Esquire Combs was the son of John Combs and Sophronia Starling. John Combs was the son of James Combs (1794) and Lydia Unknown. John was born in New Jersey. Walter and Francis Emily Allyn Combs are buried in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Omaha Nebraska. Francis was the daughter of Erastus Eugene Allyn and Minnie M. North. (I am descended from James Combs, his second family with Mary Findley) Ward married Helen Marie Wright. Ward died June 13, 1998. Helen died August 11, 2004.
