There are no records for births that recent at the library. You could probably get it by applying to either the county vital records or to state vital records. Be prepared that Nebraska is not nearly as generous with access to their records as some states that have the information posted on-line. Karen
The delayed birth certificate was probably to send to the Social Security Adm. when applying for Social Security Benefits. If it's the parents or place of birth that you are looking for you could also send to Social Security for a copy of the application using their SS-5 form.
