    2. Interesting article on a William J. Turner MAN WHO SERVED WITH CUSTER DEAD IN SOUTH Major William J. Turner, United States army, retired, stationed for many years with the old Second Infantry at Fort Omaha and who served in the Indian wars, died this week at St. Petersburg, Fla. He was ill four months and was 73 years old. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. John G. Workhizer, wife of the former commandant of cadets at the University of Nebraska; Miss Louise E. Turner, and one son, Captain F.E.S. Turner. The funeral will be at St. Petersburg and the body will be taken to Arlington national cemetery for burial. Major Turner was associated with Buffalo Bill in Indian fighting. He served in the Spanish War. The World-Herald Omaha Saturday Apr 30, 1921 NO relation
