Albert Thoendel, Chicago (born Austria: Bergstatd, Mahren (old Sudetenland, now village is called Horni Mesto, CZ Republic)), married Mae Gaugham (sp??) in Omaha. On the 1900 and 1910 census, Julius Thoendel, son of Albert, gives an 1879 immigration date, I haven't been able to find him on immgration lists. Oral traditon indicates Al and Julius worked for railroad. Also, I came across a copy of Selma Thoendel Ruud (sister to Albert Thoendel) in1930 census. She and her husband, Louis, were in Omaha in 1930. First two children were born in Illinois, while their third child, Geraldine, was born in Nebraska ~1923.
