I am hoping this is one of the two great uncles I can't find. David would have a sister, Minnie Bennett who would out live him. He would also have been born in either Colorado or Wisconsin. (I think Wisconsin, if the timeline on the family I am building is correct) Can anyone suggest where else in Douglas County I can try? Her maiden name was Livings and her nickname was Lizzie and she was born in June of 1885, in Cairo, Alexander County, Illinois. Her husband was Goodwin William (G.W.) Boudreau. According to records, he lost her in 1924, when their son was ten years old. A descendant of her sister Florence Elizabeth Livings said, the Boudreau family moved to Omaha, Nebraska and was buried there. We would appreciate it so much if someone could help us. McGavock does not appear in the Douglas County death records. The city directories from the early 1880s do show a Patrick McGavock, living at 4th & Pierce. His occupation is clerk at Felix Slaven's grocery store. The 1883 directory lists Mary McGavock at the Pierce street address. There was also an Alexander McGavock listed in the directories. He is listed as a grocery store owner. I didn't look for an obit for Patrick. I should have. Hope that this helps you. If you care to respond, contact me at jkdavis7512@cox.net . _WWW.raogk.com_ (http://www.raogk.com/) (they do charge $1 for gas and copy costs, though. ) Greater Omaha Genealogical Society charges $10 hr plus copy costs (GOGS PO Box 4011, Omaha, NE 68104 Anything they make over expenses goes into the materials available at the library. Copy costs vary from xerox (25 cents a copy) to digital (ten cents a copy). The paper copies are twice the size of a sheet of type paper. The digital copies can be emailed to save on postage. The library cots as much as it does because they want to discourage people getting copies through them. That's because they usually don't have adequate staff to do the job well. Although if you have the exact reference from the web site, they'll do it for $5. KT **************Need a new ride? Check out the largest site for U.S. used car listings at AOL Autos.
